FRAMING INFORMATION

All prints, including posters, fit standard size frames readily available in a wide range of styles and budgets. Below, I've provided tips that will aid in your frame selection and ensure your photos are protected for years to come. These are only recommendations, if a print ever fades or otherwise damaged due to environmental exposure, we can always print more. That's the great thing about digital photography.

Tip #1 - Where Not to Hang Prints:

To maximize print longevity, never hang prints in areas that receive direct sunlight or are prone to high humidity and/or fumes, e.g., near windows, bathrooms and garages.

Tip #2 - Framing Option #1:

To provide the best possible protection it's always best to have your print framed by a professional. Professionally framed prints usually include glass with UV protection and vapor barrier on the back. This protects prints from sun damage as well as humidity and fumes. Even with these safeguards, it's best not to hang professionally mounted photos in environmentally unstable areas.

Tip #2 - Framing Option #2:

Choose from the many attractive and economical frames found at a variety of retail, hobby and discount stores. I've done this myself with great results. However, I don't subject my prints to environmental influences that could affect longevity.
